#spoileralert #terracehousetokyo #hanakimura
This season of Terrace house has not been the most entertaining tbh. it has been a slow slow burner. There were few moments though that have been memorable. This scene is not yet available in the US but this is from part 4 episode 38 : the costume incident. This was the moment that changed it all as Hana Kimura addresses Kai.

More understanding. less hate
wait I thought Kai and Hana were into each other why is she this mad at him….
Not that it matters but he totally saw her clothes in the washer before putting his in
I was so upset when I heard that he news. The amount of hate she received because she let out her feelings and emotions. Yes I would be annoyed what Kai did, Hana admitted her fault in leaving her costume. People are so cruel and now people were blaming Kai. Disgusting, rest in peace Hana Kimura. She was 22 years
You say Kai didn't deserve this and that and what Hana's faults were, I think its insensitive you make a "reactions" video of Hana post her suicide bro, I'm sure your intentions are there for your YouTube account, the irony is this is a part of the reason why Cyberbullying starts, simply by people like yourself creating discussion forums for people to rage opinions good or bad. You dont seem like a bad dude but I hope you can take what I've said into consideration. Peace
I've never watched this show but I don't understand why people have cyberbullied her. Yes she did overreact but what do you expect from a young person ?
And I don't blame that guy for being silent. Because he didn't want to hurt her even more but I can also understand why she attacked him for not saying anything. In that moment she just couldn't understand why he didn't say anything. She was just too emotional to think about the consequences of her behavior
In the uk, the last available episode of this season was the one where yume and boss went on their date (part3), which i know is reallyyyy behind, so i have no context about what happened still Kyoto, or what any of these comments are talking about. Anybody care to fill me in?
at first when i saw it i didnt think much about it, i was more surprised with the reaction of people to this incident, i disliked this guy nino more than anything,
I understand where Hana was coming from i would've been pissed. But kai has always been good to her. I always wished they'd end up together
Hana wasn't that mad about the costume, she was of course very sad and upset about it, but what made her explode was that Kai didnt say anything, didnt go to her, ask to talk alone, properly apologize and try to make her feel better like Vivi was doing. Kai just stayed there saying "I'm sorry" apologies are not enough if there's no emotion in it. If Kai had reacted in a different way it wouldn't have escalated this way, Hana started talking about how important the suit was but Kai had no reaction at all, so she tried to get some emotion from him attacking his job and lifestyle and getting everytime more intense and madder. Yes the situation wasnt just Kai's fault, but he didnt want to show any kind of guilt, like those costumes meant nothing, thats what made her explode
She was angry and had every right to be. They need to learn how to empathize (I feel what you are feeling) with her instead of sympathize (I see you). The white girl seemed like she was dealing with limiting beliefs about her role in the group…she got so uncomfortable when Hana showed them how upset she was with the guy; she made the situation about her which it wasn't supposed to be about her.
That scene was a build up of all the ish that had been going on. Notice no one stepped in to defend Kai?
Rest in Peace Hana.🙏
You are absolutely tone-deaf. How dare you criticizing her, knowing she ended her life DIRECTLY because of this scene? so sympathy at all. So many people there but you only focus on her.
Hana was so mad she wasn’t thinking…. she didn’t remember that when she was crying over that other guy the only one who was there for her was Kai. She was an immature person who didn’t know how to handle …. and it wasn’t fair for her to put all the blame on Kai. If you’re doing laundry than you must check the washer especially if it’s something important
The way you did this video… Like you justify the bullying she has been victim of. And then you said "the messages and opinions". It was not simple messages, it was not opinions. It was hate, death threads and disgusting things about her physic. I didn't know what to think about you since we talked in your comments just after she died. But man… The way you did this video. Nah. Be neutral. Do not act like you justify cyber bullying. What happened between them is something that happens in every day life between people. Seriously… The way you act gives a bad taste while watching this video.
Love this video… Thanks
Why media had to show this part tho?
Thank you, I'm in France and we don't have the last part of terrace house 2020… Wow wow wow that anger she had, but I understand her in part. I feel so sorry
I don't think its fair to assume that this incident is the reason for what happened. Being on the show did. The show depicted her to be sweet and energetic that when this scene was shown to the world, people were shocked at how drastic her image changed. People started bullying her and judging her character, as if the show fully reflects her whole character as a person. People even started commenting whether she still deserves to be in the house or not. I admit that I, myself, felt disappointed for her actions but in no way does she deserve that backlash that she got. As viewers, I think we have the responsibility to know that reality show is never 100% reality. A person can be shown as a person that is completely different from who they really are. It is up to us, as viewers, to also detach our views of their actions from who they really are because we don't really know them (we'll probably never will). Yes she made a mistake but that shouldn't have defined who she was. From now on, I'm going to make a conscious effort to share positivity online whenever I can, rather than being a passive audience.
The thumbnail of this video is really insensitive.
That's women for you. It's not enough to be mad at the guy and him apologize for a stupid mistake anyone could make, she had to go on and shit on his lifestyle, his job, she literally took a huge dump on everything that he held dear. "you'll never make anyone happy, you only live life for yourself, you have no respect for anyone" like jesus fuck my dude. It's okay to be mad and argue, it's not ok to go off and insult every aspect of a person's life.
When was this episode? I don't rmbr this at all and i thought I watched all of them. Oh wow part 4 was removed. I never got to watch it. R.I.P
you have the nerve to put "rip hana kimura" at the end of your video when you've dragged her all along, you're no different than all these people that sent her hate and lead her to end her life.
Maybe you shouldn’t post this since this is basically why she died. No hate, you’re lovely. It just doesn’t sit right with me watching this rn idk. Sorry love. Just doesn’t feel right.
Bro you never look in the washer to see if clothes are in there? Stop it! Almost everybody does that. I’m not saying the man is a bad person but sometimes you can be so full of yourself.
I honestly think the ruined costume was just her breaking point. There could have been so much more going on that built up to her getting upset. Like Uchi, from Boys and Girls in the City, the meat incident was the last straw for him and he had a mental breakdown. We don't see everything that goes on.
How are you able to see Part 4? My Netflix is still only showing Part 3.
why these episodes not on Netflix yet.
For those who bullied her and said she was “overreacting” they probably don’t understand Wrestling, imagine ur biggest achievement on one of the biggest events of the year being Ruined like that, for Kpop Fans imagine ur BTS ticket or whatever got destroyed or lost imagine ur like a chef or a singer that or Recipe or ur favorite cooking thing being stolen or ruined, imagine ur Song being stolen, IMAGINE U would be mad
The reason she killed her self is because retards think wrestling is real.
This scene just made those retards go mental and because of their stupidity they go ahead and bully her because they think it make their favourite wrestler happy.
I think anyone who thinks wrestling is real should be called out.
Why cant i see this episode ? I have 3 part of the series, this happen on the 4
They shouldn’t have done the show without Yoshimi Tokui!! He makes everything more light hearted and when Ryota is being to critical he brings him back down to earth. I won’t watch another season without him because I feel like this will happen again.
Just cause you're doing something that requires more physical ability doesn't make another person that does less lazy. Maybe he works really hard to be a stand up comedian. Everyone has different interests in life. I'm absolutely against most of the comments she made about him in this video, which is probably the leading reason for viewers backlash. She probably had extra grudges against him to act so irrationally. He even apologised multiple times. I don't think he could've said anything else there as she was constantly ranting and trashtalking about him. I know the cyberbullying she faced was fucked up but it is something thats almost impossible to control if you behave like a child when thousands of people are watching you. For instance, if I was to record myself steal a homeless persons money and say they're just gonna use it for drugs anyways. I will probably get an unpreventable backlash from viewers. And if I was to then commit suicide because of cyberbullying, I don't think either my behaviour or cyberbullying can be justified.
Sooo sad. I feel like she was in crisis at this point but it seems nothing was done. I haven't watched a lot of the later episodes but it seems she was treated quite badly by the other members of the house prior to this happening. i.e: her telling the other girls she had feelings for Ryo and then the other girls blatantly flirting with him.
These episodes haven't been added to our Netflix yet damn
yooo hana has the right to be mad because something valuable to her was destroyed. i understand what she feels when she kept asking Kai to talk. it’s not that saying sorry is not enough. but she wants Kai to at least try to console her like what Vivi is doing. she said it herself, she doesn’t want to talk to Vivi about it. It’s Kai who should sit and talk to her.
But honestly, not everyone has good communication skills. I know of many people who will behave like Kai when they did something wrong, and i tell myself, it’s just how they are, i just need to pacify myself.
Looking at how the rest are just standing there, i have realised that this is how most asians act.(im asian too) they like be innocent bystanders. they dont want to get themselves involved. but if all of them tried to console Hana, im sure she would be able to relax a lil. as no one is saying anything, Hana feels like she needed to keep screaming. She was too in her feelings cos no one else is making her stop. The silence led to her going off.
Dont judge someone when they’re angry. sometimes they do things or say things they dont mean. we’re all human beings. we all have flaws and we’re different. people who are angry have lost their patience, you who is not could use your patience and try to put out the fire.
I would be super Mad at Hana for saying those things. But she is now gone so it has ended. RIP Hana. We should forget about the situation and move on guys
I believe she was heartbroken because the guy she loved got with another chick infront of her and that broke her heart…then this incident which caused tons of hate..and with her job and coronavirus..finally the cyber-bullying and racist hatemail that made her feel worthless…she was put under alot of pressure and decided to take her own life…its very sad 😞😞 R.I.P beautiful Angel Hana kimura
AND FIRST OF ALL WE DONT KNOW HOW IT IS BEHIND THE CAMERAS!!!!!!
I think that we dont have the rights to say that him or her or just any person has to do with her death guys i want her to REST IN PEACE.
I also got really mad when my friend accidentally broke my camara, sometimes a simple I am sorry is not enough. She had the right to express her pain and frustration the customer was important to her. Hana wanted him to say something like yell me as much as you want I did wrong I understand you, I will make it up to you, but Vivi wanted camara time and make it worse pouting down Hanas feelings, it was between them, fake friendships fake show not worth it. Big disappointment. 😡
I agree, some things she was saying were completely uncalled for. Kai was there for her from the beginning, the least she could have done was have this conversation directly with him in private. Like she has had plenty of other conversations with him in the past. I get it’s her most prized possession but this is what happens when people value things instead of people. Her relationship with him should have meant more to her then degrading him over an honest mistake. She should have taken some responsibility for her own actions, I.e. taking her clothes out the laundry and not have been so harsh on him. They both made a mistake. Now I will add that This was not worthy of her to be cyber bullied over. We all have off days. This scene was so cringe and heart breaking to watch. You could tell she is taking out all her frustrations on him and he is deeply hurt by her words. He was backed in a corner because he does care about her but didn’t want to make things worse. She took his silence the wrong way bcuz her anger had overcome her. Then she turns to everyone else for validation of her actions. Not cool. If you are so confident about what you’re saying and doing you won’t feel the need to be validated. Making every1 completely uncomfortable being stuck in the middle. Messy, messy, messy. I feel bad for Kai. He doesn’t have life all figured out and that’s ok he is still young and has his whole life to do that. Thank you for sharing this clip bcuz I have gone everywhere to find it. I watched all the seasons of Tokyo House of Terrace and this one seems to be omitted now. Which if you ask me, should have never been admitted in the first place. 😬
She didn’t even say anything that bad lol. This was NOTHING compared to American reality tv fights. Are the Japanese really THAT sensitive?
what the fuck was that .. lol i would have never let anyone speak to me like that ..after the first apology and of course a solution to make it up in any way i can …… this would have led to a neat clear " shut the fuck up" ..or either i leave or either you crazy enough to come for a fight plus why the others didn't speak up or didn't let the two spoke and remove themselves from the situation instead of letting thing escalate ..only vivi and actually kai ..well it's over this is probably the very last season of that show ever
Hurt people, hurt people. Sad but true. I feel terrible for kia. That must of hurt alot. But after what happened we know hana had alot of pain herself. And it was to much. Regardless of how two people interacted it wasnt anyone elses business 🙁
You know its all pretty ironic because in kais stand up he made a terrible joke about salary men saying why dont they just kill them selves . yea Kai is a horrible comedian but that joke did not age well . He made a joke about suicide but one of his so called friends killed her self imagine how he felt when he found out and all because toxic terrace house fans talking shit to her over some fucking clothes japanese people are cool but there is alot of shitty ones too.
This wasn't about her outfit, but it was her outfit that ignited the inner rage that probably has been building up to a point where she had to vent it out. At that point, there was no going back, she had to just go all out and burn bridges. I do not blame her nor Kai, it was just unfortunate because that is her way of coping. Kai really couldn't have handled it any better, he knew that nothing he could have said could save their relationship. All he could do was apologize. Truly an unfortunate event.
I AGREE WITH U EVERYONE DOES but i dont agree with those who BULLLIED HER TO DEATH blood is on ur hands and anyone who has ever bullied someone so much.
