It’s the end of the world as we know it…so what should we do??? Make ART! December, 2012 will host an epic array of artists who contemplate the past with visions of the future. Mind Unwind artist and instructor, Diana Oliphant is headlining this exhibit with her series of collages inspired by many of the global events that have taken place in 2012.
Lori June is joining Diana with two series of photographs. One called “Rust In Piece” and the other “Reflections.”
Anna Hurwitz has offered her site-specific installation called “Gold”. Gold is a limited edition of 22 semi-unique works and was inspired by my family’s celebration of the winter solstice as our seasonal holiday tradition.
Karah Pino built a mixed media “chime-delier” from vellum origami folded angels with oil paint on industrial scrap plastic sheets with Indian Brass Bells. Karah is donating a portion of the proceeds from each angel to the Mind Unwind Foundation to cultivate our after school programs.
